Legal Secretary - Construction Defect / Commercial Litigation
Location: Encinitas, CA (Hybrid after 6 months)

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced Legal Secretary to support our Construction Defect / Commercial Litigation practice.
Top Requirements
- 3-5 years of legal secretarial experience (ideal-not seeking overly senior candidates)
- Experience with Federal and State e-filing
- Strong document management skills; ProLaw experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, format, proofread, and finalize legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, timesheets, and project materials with accuracy and attention to detail
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and process time entries and expense reports
- Handle e-filing in both Federal and State courts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain case files and assist with document management; experience with ProLaw is highly desirable
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and vendors
- Support litigation tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation legal secretarial experience (3-5 years strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of legal terminology, litigation procedures, and court rules
- Strong organizational skills with expertise in scheduling and calendaring
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe
- Familiarity with local, State, and Federal court processes and e-filing systems
- Ability to multitask and maintain efficiency under pressure
- Experience with case management software; ProLaw experience a plus
- Ability to commute to Encinitas, CA 92024; hybrid schedule available after 6 months
